Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry Re: Separate WC versus big bathroom ? 13Jan 17, 2008 2:11 pm I prefer seperate option, but if it makes the bathroom really tiny and there is another one available, I'd rather make it all as one and use a halfway to discretely hide it in the room, which I've had in one of my houses.

I'd put this cistern washbasin product into better suited to the seperate toilet room usage, and not for it to be thought of as a bathroom handbasin. Do you really want to clean your teeth leaning over this thing And as it is against the wall behind the cistern, there are some ergonomic issues with getting your hands to a basin that is 50cm away. Can't see it catching on, the ergonomics are awful. And as for kids using it... Re: Separate WC versus big bathroom ? 15Jan 17, 2008 3:08 pm i think the water saver works well in a small standalone toilet as it gets rid of that dinky handbasin taking up other space in the room.
and it also uses the hand washing water to full the cistern. ie once you flush it, the tap starts running until the cistern is full. Either way - I'm a fan of these toilets. No flushing at all and no smells either. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Steve Re: Separate WC versus big bathroom ? 16Jan 17, 2008 3:10 pm seperate, definitely. With 4 kids and one toilet and bathroom it is bad enough. If the toilet and bathroom weren't seperate it would be worse. Thank god there are three males in the house and a happy lemon tree..... Re: Separate WC versus big bathroom ? 17Jan 17, 2008 7:46 pm I'm not sure on this. If you had have asked me a year ago I would have said seperate definitely. However, having lived in our current place for 8 months, with the 3 of us (admittedly Em is only now being toilet trained) sharing a bathroom with the toilet in it, I don't find it that bad. I think the worst part is that our bathroom/toilet is what the visitors have to use, so I have to be mindfull of not leaving stuff out on the bench, and making sure the place is clean (says she who really needs to clean the shower!)... but that's a whole nother issue.
Ideally seperate would be better but if it's a matter of space, then I wouldn't worry too much if it's all together. It's all about what you think you will be able to live with. Ray. Re: Separate WC versus big bathroom ? 20Mar 06, 2008 7:40 pm I guess I have the same question but a different situation.
There are only two of us... What do you helpful people out there think? I just realised how tiny the toilet is. I think you would have to squeeze up next to it to open the door. Really torn.... Any advice? Thank you so much for your response. I have drawn a pedestrian gate in - for curb appeal, let's see how much costs come in at. I think you're right - if we decide to… 2 6727 2 11509 |
