(Need to choose Taubmans colour which I'm not familiar with)
Heres what I have so far:
Roof: Shale Grey
Fascia/Gutter: Surfmist
Garage Door: Decowood Merbau (or Similar)
Timber Entry Piers & Entry Feature: Stain to match Garage door
Main Render: Taubmans OBSERVATION
Feature Render: Taubmans BRILLIANT WHITE
Brickwork: PGH Beach (Rattan)
Blade Piers: National Tiles Frammenta Anthracite (1200x300 horiz, staggered)
My main render colour has me stumped. I wanted something to pop however still appeal to masses. Below I've made a mock up of the colours.
Would love your suggestions on the render colours, along with positioning of the colours.

This is what we've knocked up with the architect so far. Roof: Gun Metal Fascia/Gutter: ? Eaves: ? Cladding: I was thinking a nice black. But will that be too dark considering there is cladding across the eastern side as well. Window Frames: Shale Grey? Garage Door: Stained Timber look (recommendation required) Timber Entry posts: Stained Timber (recommendation required) Render Feature surrounding garage: ? Brickwork: Austral Bricks - Wilderness Range - Blackberry Pillar: Beaumont Tiles - Bengal Stone Wall Lightweight Timber Feature: Stained Timber look (recommendation required) Front Door: Stained Timber (recommendation required) Front door, timber post, garage and timber feature to match. The stair case will be Timber and Glass, so the timber will match the front door as well. There are a lot of elements to our facade, and I am getting quite overwhelmed. Please help! I lean towards more BLACK/WHITE/GREY scheme. I call it "warmed up contemporary" HAHA  but it borders Hamptons... Some say the Taubmans Crisp White is the whitest but others say it has a creamy hue (Which I cannot stand) From the swatches and website Im leaning towards AKIMBO but Im going to attempt to ask one of the above builders if they can give me the name of the paint they used but since we're not building with them I doubt theyll try very hard for me haha. I didnt get a notification of your response have only just seen it now. Paint goes on in a week or so. Wondering if I should go a lighter main render colour. The bit I am now struggling with is whether to match all of the white trim to the Surfmist garage, facia, guttering, roof or go with a crisp white or sit somewhere between (eg. Surfmist half). We are building a double storey house.Our colour so far are Austral Chesnut bricks (but the front of the house is fully rendered )Barramundi Roof Tiles,Monument windows and gutter and fascia,Beige Royal Render,Caoba garage door and similar front door. I have a feature Pillar in front and i am confused what colour to go for? I was recommended the Dulux Excelsior ,is that something that suits or is there any other colour you would suggest? I have attached my plan of the front of the house.I need to give an answer to the builder latest by tomorrow if i want to change the render for the pillar. We are building a house in WA and just starting to look at colour choices well in advance of pre start as this is our Achilles heal and we will spend hours looking at colour patches. We have a limited colour choice due to Developer
We prefer the grey shades. We are thinking Basalt roof with Surfmist for the main render. The feature red bricks on the photos and garage door we are unsure of. We are thinking maybe a basalt rendered feature instead of the red face brick, as red is not aloud and we are unsure of what colour face brick would work. We were thinking possibly Windspray doors/window frame. Any idea's or tips would be amazing. We are struggling with the choice. We have been playing with the Austral colour visualizer, so we have attached the rough idea. First time building a new home and the process of choosing the correct wall colour is driving me crazy! I hate not be able to paint a few walls first before choosing the colour! The house we are building has a very french provincial feel, with dark flooring, white skirting & architraves, marble accents in the kitchen & bathrooms. The wall colour we are wanting a soft grey without any blue undertones. Our builder use Taubmans paint. Do you have any guidance on a nice grey colour to use? I'd also like to ask about blue cabinet colours - this is another area I'm struggling with. I'm envisioning navy blue cabinets for the laundry - but I don't want a bright blue colour. It needs to be soft, easy on the eyes with grey undertones. Would you have any suggestions on this? Our cabinet maker will paint these cabinets so any paint brand can be used. Unfortunately as we all know its been a tough year. I'm in the middle of purchasing a new computer as the one I have is letting me down, freezing and just shutting down! HBCF ( Home Building Compensation Fund) - This is if the builder dies or goes broke.
