Standards for weep holes under the window

Hello Guys, I have a question about weep holes on a near completion house.

I noticed in the pre-handover inspection that there is no weeping hole on the bricks under all the windows and doors.
But I could see them on all of our neighbors who build with the same builder.

Just wondering if this is something I should worry about for building standards and push our builder to fix before handover?

If masonry is weatherproof and window joints are properly sealed, weep holes are not required. In fact, what's the whole purpose of your bricks if they don't even protect from the water?

Thanks for the reply.
It seems that it could be ok to leave it. However, the only thing puzzle me is that we have 8 lots building with the same builder. All the other 7 got the window weeps holes and we are only one lot that does not have it.

Your window heads are in protected position under eaves and it is unlikely you will have a problem.
From memory if a window or door is 1m or less it does not require a weep hole.
