We have 8 fans all internal and 3 pendants, a heap of down lights, no where near 88. The budget would of had a stroke with that many. We got away with no step lights as our stair case is a straight up one and the pendant is directly above (thank god those little suckers are like $100 each) looking forward to seeing your strip kitchen lighting that will look cool. That's a shame the staff aren't being helping just giving you fob off answers hoping you will go away. I'm like you roo, a dog with a bone that doesn't give up
. We will build again and with Metricon as I can't fault them, it's just a shame they want to charge for every single bloody change or upgrade and the standard inclusions are rubbish, Clarendon kick big goals in that department.
I know the feeling about stairs, fully cantilevered was $18k or a semi cantilevered was $13k
we did the same and spent the funds else where, agree about comfort and noise my kids thump up and down ours and if they where wooden it would be so loud. It will defiantly help with your sleeping too.
