With regards to house land packages we are first home buyers and as it was a package didn't pay stamp duty. However if we bought the land first then got the builder after we would of had to pay the duty and then claim it back when the house build started. This was the same for our fthbg it was paid direct to the bank when the first invoice was paid from the builder. We also got $14,000 discount for buying a house land package. We are in WA building with Summit Gomes Group.
