Is it structural because there is not enough length in the wall to put a concealed door?

if it was to the ensuite they can move the door opening to fit one in. For the kids bathroom you could encourage the draftsmen to change the plans to include a csd, a bi-fold door or have the door open outwards. The only issue I would have opening the door outwards would be the linen press.

Looking at the drawings I can't see how it can be structural, there must be another reason. As you have not even signed off on the drawings heaps of changes can still be made.

So I would ask why you couldn't have one, the question it and annoy them until they put one in

Also the toilet room is 1.55m long, have you compared that to your current toilet? In ikea they have a wall fixed cabinet you can put in the toilet/bathroom to have more storage.

What I understood was that according to the girl responsible for jobs (I think Administration), that I cant do structural changes to the plan, and seems plan is locked-out. after paid first 1000$. I cant remember I have singed off any final floor plan but I think i have sign off a floor plan saying this is the one i'm going with.
During the sales pitch, sales consultant said, i can do the changes till the contract sign and just needs to submit the variation forms for each change.
However I submitted a list of changes what i wants to do with layout (nothing major, but small changes). I'll try to get sorted those during the color selection. if they are not flexible, might have to pull the plug (at my cost

).

Anyway as you said I measured the my current toilet and found out that is smaller than this

. So this one shouldn't have much problem, but I still loves to have some more space there

You should be able to make changes, I made changes right up to the week before I signed the contract, and even I took my contract home and noticed something wasn't right, I changed it again until I was happy, then I signed the contract.

Changing the internals isn't structural in most cases, it is just a matter of moving frames and plaster around. In some cases you can't move certain walls, but I think your customer relations officer needs to follow it up with the draft team.

It is your home they are building and you should have as much space as possible in your loo.

Nice to hear from my new neighbours, House is building quite fast, and now it is in the finishing stage. I couldn't update the my thread, B'cos new comer to our family took all our time and attention.

I manged to photograph all stage of the house. I will update my thread soon.

I thought to update my thread, which was neglected for quite some time due to family duties.

When I tired to access, got error message saying "its not available now". My first thought was "Damm !!! Did I killed to was it removed b'cos there was no update.".

Finally managed to find it and now it time to catch up with what I missed to publish about previous stages.

Land was cleaned and cut in the first week of May

Caterpillar tracks on the land. soil was quite wet, as whole week was heavily raining, I was expecting delay on project start.
But they have cut the land without any delay

Had to wait another week till rain stoped and site get dry enough to put concrete for foundation.

Finally got my foundation. :z:
