The only issue I would have with the pop-ups is that they will impact on whatever is below the benchtop. Ie in some cases you wouldn't be able to have a drawer as there may be a clearance issue. I have a double PP on the "dead" side of my island bench. It is the farthest away side so not seen unless you walk to that end. Both of my ends are 80mm waterfalls and as it was mounted on the side had no impact on the drawers / cupboards on the other side of the waterfalls. Some things are worth waiting for. Most builders will provide standard Island Bench with overhang. Can these standard island bench be modified to some of the ones shown in display houses?
