I was one of 4 kids who grew up in a very small 3 bedroom 120M2 house. We thrived and survived. I have seen some peoples games rooms as big as our whole house was. How times have changed. The bigger the house the bigger the mortgage the bigger the mess to clean up, the more furniture to buy, less space for outside activities. I remember seeing a show on ABC 4 Corners a while back saying the same thing, 'Modern houses have gotten way bigger as the blocks have gotten smaller'. Give me a good old fashioned 1/4 acre block with a mediocre size house any day.
