Can you see brush strokes Re: One off plan WA - Cabinetry in **PICS** 175Apr 08, 2011 5:42 pm Quote: Can you see brush strokes I can't see brush strokes as such although from what I could see, they've only done the one coat. FYI... the colour is Monument, so don't know if the 'darker' colour makes any difference re: brush strokes. Another words, if one were to choose a lighter colour, would that make the brush strokes stand out a little more, etc. I hadn't really thought about painting of rollerdoors...I'd assume it wouldn't matter.... ...and yes, gutters and downpipes are zincalume. Sorry if this isn't much help, as definitely not an expert in these sorts of things ...could anybody else help with Pattycake4's enquiry, please? I am only 5"4 though I think they look fine I wouldn't stress at all about the fascia being painted but I don't know how successful painting a roller door would be. I'm sure it's been done before though! ~*~Moved in on the 16th April 2011~*~ Re: One off plan WA - Cabinetry in **PICS** 177Apr 09, 2011 8:14 am Thanks ,yes I have painted rollerdoor before Re: One off plan WA - Cabinetry in **PICS** 178Apr 10, 2011 1:28 am Ezi4few Quote: Can you see brush strokes I can't see brush strokes as such although from what I could see, they've only done the one coat. Re: One off plan WA - Cabinetry in **PICS** 179Apr 13, 2011 12:05 pm I went to our tiling meeting this morning and was surprised to see the floor tiles already laid down, so just reconfirmed our placement with the borders, etc around the wet areas. Both tilers were great and a happy bunch for the morning as well! Following picks are 'before' the feature tiles etc. go on and tomorrow morning I'll pop around and see if I can get some 'after' shots Master Bedroom WIR http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0030.jpg Ensuite cabinets/sinks http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0026.jpg Ensuite drawers closeup http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0028.jpg Ensuite http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0027.jpg Laundry cabinet closeup http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0021.jpg Powder room with cabinet http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0018.jpg Powder room sink closeup #2 http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0020.jpg Main bathroom http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0010.jpg Bathroom shower floor http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0012.jpg Full kitchen from living room http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0008.jpg Pantry notice gap below baulkhead http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0003.jpg Kitchen sink/dishwasher http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0002.jpg Kitchen: Bench drawers http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0004.jpg Oven/Hotplate placement http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0034.jpg Alfresco from kitchen http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0033.jpg Living/Dining room view from kitchen http://ezi4few.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/dsc_0032.jpg Plastering 02/03/11 Roofframe 31/01/11 / Electrics, plumbing, gutters, downpipes 12/02/11 Bricks 10/01/11 / Pad 10/12/10 Retainingwalls 5/11/10 / Re-peg 14/10/10 Bldlic appvd 10/09/10 / Plansappvd 12/07/10 Bldcontract signed 19/02/10 / Landsettlement 25/01/10 BlockUOffer July 09 Forum: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=27512 Re: One off plan WA - Tiling meeting *PICS* 180Apr 13, 2011 12:09 pm Looks fantastic, you have done so well with the colour choices.
