Certificate of Occupancy is getting done today so its now up to the bank to make sure handover happens next Friday.
Benchtop dilemma was sorted...... he tried a patch up job by sticking two pieces of stone on either end. I wasn't happy with this as there was an obvious line where it had been stuck on. If I am paying $6k for stone benchtops I want it done properly. So stone man had to pick up my new sink ($970 Franke Sink
) and re-cut the stone to fit this. Thought I might be able to sell our other one but the cheeky man took it with him..... obviously not too happy with how much this job has cost him 
. Just met the splashback guy to measure this up properly and pick a colour but forgot to take a pic. Will do that this afternoon and put it up. Kitchen looks almost complete now with the over-bench lights, can't wait for the splashback to complete it.
