So, where you can avoid terminating a HDMI cable with a wallplate and instead can run the cable straight out of a 'gromet' or 'cable portal' and connect it directly to the device I recommend doing just that. (I'm not sure how all that works???)). You'll still need a set top box or a digital capable TV to decode the digital signal. The aerial makes little difference. I've got a $25 aerial on my roof at the moment, and I have no isses on my digital tv. The wonders of digital transmissions! Also, if you've got the dosh, I'd suggest a ceiling mounted projector. But it's the same theory as the wall mounted TV. You'll need to run whatever audio/video cables you want to use from the projector back to where your dvd player/set top box/amp is. So you'd probably put a wall plate on the ceiling next to the projector mount, and one on the wall behind the cabinet with your av devices in it.
