Deceiving builders they are!
I would not reccomend them at all.... the amount of trouble we've had plus we'r over the contract date already and still no sign of handover! We decided that we were better off not going with a volume builder after a dissapointing tile appointment. This was the final straw after many things we found we were compromising on. It was so attractive at first because it was a house DH finally liked, so I ran with it, and they would start in Feb (started the ball rolling in Oct) sounded too good. Then came the $40000.00 +  site cost on a class M block with a 1.8 metre fall, everything that we wanted was an upgrade, and you know the mark up they put on and finally at the tile appointment the tiles that I wanted they didn't have - and for what I chose the fee was $6000.00 to put in a different tile to the wall neiches (chose a standard tile to floor and wall).
Then I had my carpet cleaned at home and I showed the guys my tiles (knowing the clean tiles as well) and they were shocked that I chose the tile I did for the floor and shower base - told me I would break my neck on them when they were wet!  They were a STANDARD tile!!
we found ourselves thinking that we were building a house that we didnt really want. We looked into a private builder and found one, can have all the little things we want (like hugh laundry and WIR)  and believe it or not its turned out to be not much more expensive as the builder doesnt have the hugh mark up on things.
by the way the house we were quoted with PD got up to $500,000 before going to the colour selection, and adding all those upgrades

We went to Mernda villages display and nothing there and then to riverdale on plenty which has the brookvale display but a different balcony design.
