Our SS said he needed 3 in order to do the setout for the house. When you visit your block, check to see if the holes in the ground from where the pegs were are still there. I was lucky enough to find 2 of them and put some pegs back in the ground, therefore escaping the re-establishment survey cost. Also remember that your fencer will need your pegs too, so preserve them during the build once you get it sorted out. Good luck, I hope you can get away without a re-survey. Our 1st survey had like 3 pegs missing or some ****, but I have neighbours on either side.. a re-peg was done I think and that was like $300, if that.
