Our site costs on a flat block were good but increased due to extra peiring required due to soil conditions. MJH were for some time aware of the large increase of the number of peirs required as opposed to the original plans but failed to advise me that the costs will go over as they are meant to advise me of an estimate of the increase under the HIA contract. I wasn't called by MJH on the day of the peiring to let me know it would go over. As I could not witness the peir depths I found it frustrating to sign for a 3K variation.
