I understand that I'd need to drill a hole through the brickwork at the desired outlet location, connect the coax to the antenna splitter and route it to the new location (avoiding high voltage lines) and fish the cable through the cavity, then terminate the wall connector. What I'd like to know is - does there need to be a metal/plastic back box, or can I simply screw the faceplate into masonry plugs?
