Looking forward to seeing some internal pics 😁 what problems did you have with the bank? 😱 Thank you. Will post them soon once we've had the painting and downlights done. The bank dint want to make final payment before the backyard and internal wall paints done. We chose to have them done not by the builder. The builder wudnt let other trades in before handover and bank wont pay until those works are done. It then took a couple of days of back and forth before the bank paid. Bloody banks!! Re: Our new build @Wellard with Impressions 25Nov 05, 2020 8:52 pm Hey Spinvests, the house looks great. May I know what is the wood looking cladding at the front wall called? Did you have to get it painted, if so what colour is it, if you dont mind? We are thinking of going for a similar look for our build Re: Our new build @Wellard with Impressions 26Nov 06, 2020 3:09 pm bomb3rman Hey Spinvests, the house looks great. Did it cost much more than the standard builder's range of cladding, if you don't mind me asking? Seems like it would - since it's a German product? Our original plans had grooves in the render (as the cladding we original wished for was very expensive) I guess the builder quoted over 20k so we said no, thank you. We preferred to go with the render grooves to achieve a similar look. However, when the render was completed and came time for the grooves, the builder said that the grooves are not achievable and they should not have promised that solution to start with. So, they had to promote us to the cladding at no cost to us. You could contact Blue Chip Group and order samples and i'm sure they can give you some pricing as well. "Losers" "humanity" "off time" "your" "top notch" "love symbol" Sounds like ponzo is done using other people's toilets 36 25373 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 19951 For reference, this is the Austlii reference.
