Started off with the last day of nippers for the season... Having twins meant I started the day running 4 lots of flags, 6x 100m beach sprints, standing in the bay for 45 minutes for relays (water was beautiful), then swimming 500m while the kids were on paddle boards .... I'm getting too old for this!!! Then we got about preparing one side of the front yard for landscaping... 15 barrows of rubble, 3 tree stumps requiring chainsaw and 4WD extraction, then plinth extensions added to the fence to keep the weeds out from next door, 3/4 of a metre of garden bed fill delivered, barrowed, spade blended, screeded for level, weed mat stapled to the new plinth extension and weighted with bricks and a piece of timber before we plant it out next weekend or during the week. Re: Building Bayside : Our Glendale 45 528Mar 27, 2019 11:29 pm Had our service inspection yesterday, with pretty much all items bar one being agreed to being fixed. The main one that isn't being considered too favourably is a damaged window frame upstairs, that will require the window to be taken out, and render having to be redone, etc... The other is the bottom panel of our garage door has fine scratches all the way along it from when the ground the slab worth the door closed. It shall be interesting to see how they deal with them Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Building Bayside : Our Glendale 45 529Apr 09, 2019 12:12 am Got rid of nearly all our left over bricks on the weekend... Dug over an entire garden bed, and tonight after work we dug up a bunch of plants that we'd relocated to my parents house while the build was happening... I can barely raise my arms above elbow height, and tomorrow night we've got to finish prepping the garden beds, dig through some sugar cane compost, roll out weed mat and plant....
