Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Dec 29, 2018 6:59 am I wanted to raise a question in relation to Tiling work. I don’t know if this is something well known but most of my work that I’ve done in good suburbs like Williamstown or Armadale or average suburbs. I turn up on the job and the trades have done an awful job so I turn around and advise and do the refixing. But the builder doesn’t want me to do that and the owners are happy about it. To the point that the builder requests to leave. Even during the process they say not to talk to the owners. The jobs the trades have done are bad and if I do Tiling it’s just going to be really bad for the future to the point that I can’t even do the tiling as refixing needs to be done first. So what do you think I can say? In relation to this problem. How can fix this problem because maybe I don’t know the law but I understand if I do my job over the top of what’s done there will be problem and they can involve me into it. I came in and said it all needs to be redone but in the end the builder kicked me out. Re: Redoing faulty trades jobs and doing my Tiling work.
