Looks massive doesn’t it. 😁 it’s 607. Haha yeah your block looks massive!!! Still zero communication. It would be nice to get an email, sms something to say, hopefully this or that will be happening this week. Luckily we live close by to be able to drive past like mad stalkers 🤪😂😂 Re: KDR - Rawson Chifley 42 mark ii in Newcastle. 78Nov 08, 2018 7:27 am Hey with all that contracty stuff from a couple of weeks back, don't forget that Australian consumer law does protect you from contract clauses that aren't fair; it's not just "bad luck you signed a contract" if the contract itself is unreasonable and the company you've signed with takes advantage of having railroaded you into signing it. Obviously the company needs some protection from ignorant or whiny or time-wasting customers as well, but as a reasonable customer you're not totally & utterly under the builder's control. Salfield, you'll only be contacted if they need to ask something & when major stages are completed … I agree it'd be nice to get more detailed info, but the site supervisor & whoever's playing a massive game of Tetris with the tradies are generally busy enough (plus you probably don't want to know how many times someone might have been called back after something was theoretically "finished" ). Yeah mate. I agree with all that. I’ve spoken with people who have had our site supervisor before us and they said he was quite good with his communication, so I was hoping for similar. I appreciate he is busy but as they say, under promise and over deliver. He has told me a couple of times now he would let me know about a few things that were up coming but we heard nothing. Good to know about the contract laws. Cheers Simon Re: KDR - Rawson Chifley 42 mark ii in Newcastle. 80Nov 13, 2018 4:29 pm Things are going swimmingly at the moment pending the Xmas shut down. The concrete blokes are great guys and said things always slow down around the time the house starts to look like a real home. Oh well. Just happy for things to be happening. We have been plastic wrapped and pods are on site. Bring on the slab.
