Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Housing the Tribe, Gold Coast 3947Aug 04, 2017 2:22 pm charlibearDo you still get to keep your infinity tiles now that you're back with M? Hopefully you get this show on the road soon, I would be so antsy if I were you... Can't wait to see your plan and colours Hello CB, I can have them if I want as National tiles can just order them in, mind you I won't get the same price . I don't think I'm going to use them as I'm going for a different look, Just trying to figure out what that is . Very god damn antsy we have been dealing with builders for so long and gotten no where. Not sure when the plans are due back or the preliminary tender. Won't be long though if they are getting everything sorted with soil testing and surveyors. I have a colour walk through next Saturday at Robina so I can prepare everything. I'll be doing colours, tile and electrical appointments alone so I'm gathering as much info as I can now so Mr T can help me preselect ![]() So pleased to see so much happening at your place too. Re: Housing the Tribe, Gold Coast 3948Aug 04, 2017 9:54 pm Tribe7 ruraldocDid u dig it out with your foot?! Haha congrats with the soil test! And fingers crossed... Need to stop by your lot one of these days to have a sticky beak. A good reason to do a stopover in your town.... ![]() Hahhahahha not quite, it's a awkward angle to take a photo on with the slope. Once the pad is cut you will see what I mean. Back of the pad will be around 1.5m high. Soil report will come back as a low E. We went with a house and land package (byo land ) with upfront fixed priced site costs. We got our site costs last week so the soil test won't affect the price woo hooo ![]() ![]() Next time your on your way through call past, give us a beep we live just down the road from our block ![]() Definitely! 😁 Follow our first house build here! -> https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=86484 Re: Housing the Tribe, Gold Coast 3949Aug 05, 2017 8:38 am Tribe7 fleabee86Yay for soil test Yay indeed, the surveyor was onsite this morning too. I was puzzled why this man was on my block acting a bit strange in the corner and then I realized as I drove up the hill he was the surveyor checking the levels on the theodolite .PMSL sprung! But super glad they have been quick to get out there and starting the process ![]() Re: Housing the Tribe, Gold Coast 3950Aug 14, 2017 5:24 pm A little update for us, Soil test and contour survey have been completed.
