My wife and I will be building our first home in the Northern Suburbs at Cloverton, we have selected the Vancouver 33 by Porter Davis as we really love the open plan of the design.
As part of the “lifestyle range” it also comes with a number of inclusions. Basically so far, the only thing we have added is concrete driveway, sink to the galley, downlights and cooling. It’s our first time so we are a little inexperience and are basically still working out if there’s anything else we haven’t included. At the moment we are going for the standard design of the Vancouver 33.
Our block doesn't settle until December, we have been provided with a start date March 2017.
We left our $2k deposit at the Werribee display couple of weeks ago.
So we are now down to doing our research on colours/themes.
I guess the stumbling block at the moment is picking a facade.
We are contemplating on whether to go with the free facade which is Seaside, or go for the ones we like which are Ferndale ($2k), Griffith ($3200) and Waterside ($5400).
We are finding it difficult to make a decision based on photos that's been photoshopped and also hard to decide based on the facades masterplan as we're just normal people and are still getting used to interpreting building terms / pictures.
Just wondering if anyone has built with any of the above facades and if it was possible to see a photo of your facades or even better if we could drive by and a quick look?
Thanks so much. I hope to hear from someone building the Vancouver 33 also. Perhaps we could help each other out with suggestions and opinions
