We had a large Roman blind on our sliding door from our master bedroom to the outside it was very heavy and got very dusty. Also when you have it up there's no privacy. We are having what's called vertisheers on our sliding door from our bedroom to the outside but we needed privacy as we have an open ensuite. They look like sheer curtains but have a vertical blind built in. Hopefully they work well. Not sure about rollers but same problem when up no privacy. I'd never make that mistake again. Especially with dogs. Huge nightmare and annoyance. At our new house we are going with white sheers. They just clip off to wash. I've looked into vertical honeycomb blinds but they are too pricey. Hubby hates curtains and I don't love panel gliders. Looking for something to keep the afternoon westerly sun out. I’m in a similar position except I’m after sliding 3 stacking doors.
