We had Bianca from HGWA help us with our pre start and she was great. Very helpful and thorough. Thought id put up a few of our choices (of things i actually remembered to take photos of) Bathroom sinks Bathroom taps Front door Internal doors Rangehood Cooktop Front door handle Internal Door Handles Undermount sink Garage door style/type So we ended up going with the freestanding bath. We have extended our tiles in the ensuite to be full height. We added some overhead cupboards above our wall oven stack. We have deleted all paving and will have aggregate done. We will be getting a mirrored splashback so we have been told to tell the tiler to just stick the tiles on lightly as they can't leave the wall blank. My husband went to see a Smart wiring company so we spent a bit on conduits throughout the house. I have chosen the paint white on white for my internal doors and frames. With the external colours, i wasn't aware you could pick the colour bond colours and they would match it with the equivalent paint colours, so thats what we ended up doing. So we have gone with the Anodic Natural for our window frame. I had black in the last house which i think looks nice but i wanted something different and although i love white... i can't be dealing with cleaning them constantly. We chose Basalt for the roof which will also be the same colour as our gutters and feature pillar render. Gull grey/Shale grey for the garage door and fascias Surfmist for the render I have put my colours into a house visualiser to get an idea of what the colours will look like. This isn't the front elevation of our home but its close enough/the closest they had Once i receive all our updated items from HGWA i will update the other changes we made. They look good in the visualiser! Re: Our Build with Homegroup WA 32Mar 05, 2016 8:55 am So it has finally begun! Our block was cleared on Thursday and it was being compacted on friday. Hopefully we will have a slab next week Our Build - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80197&start=10#p1484352 Re: Our Build with Homegroup WA 35Mar 05, 2016 2:21 pm Hi following your build. Love your colours we have gone exactly same lol we are building the southport Re: Our Build with Homegroup WA 38Mar 07, 2016 12:09 pm Feel like I've made a big mistake in the kitchen. We had chosen the grey bench top and white cupboards at our tile choice meeting but at the prestart the lady asked if we wanted to make a feature of the island by using ash woodline (that is our laundry cupboard colour) as the island bench top. At the time I thought would be ok but now I'm regretting it big time ? Re: Our Build with Homegroup WA 39Mar 07, 2016 1:00 pm Is it too late to change? I am guessing they will charge a variation fee. So hard doing all the choices and then you end up doubting yourself. I know I have many of times.
