Sounds great - love your colour choices. Has the manhattan flooring changed? I think I read now that there is a slight bevel edge between the planks, is that true ? Rather than giving a totally smooth flat finish??

Yes Jessicana10 thats right ... I dont like it totally smooth so I was happy with that

Oh that floor looks so much better with the bevel edge - we decided to do flooring after handover as I didn't like how flat the manhattan floor looked. I might have to have a second look now.
We are building the Monterey belle q2
- we are signing contracts Tuesday so I have to stop making changes.
I wonder if the price of that floor has gone up. I'll have to look into it

Very nice choices! They will look awesome when it comes together...

Our flooring will have bevel edging it gives it a more realistic feel and look

Agree with the flooring the bevel edging does give it more realistic feel ... hopefully it wont look too dark this colour and good on a bigger scale.

Omg its been ages I havent updated my thread is because we were having some issues with bank and Henley was delaying a lot of things as well!

So we have had our contract appointment back in 22/6/15 then the month of July and August basically involved Henley fixing the issues in the contract and drawing. And then getting the planning permit!

We had few hiccups with the bank as well but its all fixed now thank god!

Finally finished the administration stages and we've finally been allocated a site supervisor yahoo!!

We went on site today and saw that the site cut has happened. Hopefully, things will go smoother from here on from us.

We liked the Bellevue but decided to go with a smaller builder instead and had a custom made plan based off that. We did what you did and changed the layout of the kitchen and got a window splashback too! We just signed our contract last week.

Looks normal to me! Next they put the form work and plastic down before installing the foam waffle things and metal!

Why are you not getting the raft slab? Is that the standard now from Henley?

I have no idea about that ... Did you get a raft slab and did you have to ask them for it? I thought raft slab reduces the energy rating?

we didn't ask for a raft slab it was standard for their 50 years structural warranty I guess and for this area? Ask your admin what you are actually getting. I don't know what a rigid slab is.
