Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Glendale 38 (Elara) 23Jul 15, 2015 4:24 pm ya the duplicates were obvious but with 100 points in tender and most of the them just generic...I was losing concentration luckily i spotted this one and woke up and found couple more Also as we have L&H package for Glendale 38, during tender they told us that our estate requirement is to have little bigger eves and bigger garage so they have added extra cost for that ...I argued again as M was well aware of the estate requirement whey they advertised the package cost so they can't charge more now....again they agreed and gave us credit of $1800... I have now learnt with them ...you don't challenge you don't get. Re: Glendale 38 (Elara) 24Jul 15, 2015 9:38 pm Good spotting with the duplicates and great job challenging them! Its a good idea to quadruple check everything!! If you can kindly post a photo of your front elevation (or facade) pls that would be greatly appreciated! Just want to see how your garage roof looks like. Thanks! build thread - viewtopic.php?t=78328 Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Re: Glendale 38 (Elara) 27Jul 21, 2015 12:40 pm Your roof line over your garage is very similar to ours. The colour combination is good. Will it be stacked stone to the right hand front facade? Metricon used to have a website called envisage by Metricon that allowed you to do all your colours internally and externally. I'm not sure if it's still available but I found it quite helpful. Monier tiles also have a visualizer for roof colours. Best of luck deciding. Re: Glendale 38 (Elara) 29Jul 21, 2015 8:37 pm Good colour combination for your facade Vikas! I think M took down that envisage website a few weeks ago unfortunately! With stacker stone we were a bit concerned it might time stamp the house. If you look at the new display homes they use outdoor tiles as a feature on pillars that stacker stone. Also consider your internal colours, if you like the warm earthy tones and plan to go with creams/Browns then your internal and external has to flow. I found this article quite useful when deciding externals http://www.stylishlivablespaces.com/ext ... our-scheme End if the day it's your home as long as you love it that's what matters.
