I also choose a widom as a builder. i havent got any information from my solicitor regarding registration. If your land is at Eagleview Road, registration has been delayed due to roadworks, rest of the lands on stage 13 are ready for settlement. What about you? Re: Anyone Building at One Minto? 527Feb 20, 2015 10:23 pm MintoMa HKADH mrdeepak111 Anybody got any news about stage 13? Re: Anyone Building at One Minto? 528Feb 21, 2015 9:32 pm HKADH iam also building Washington 29 at stage 13 That's great to hear! What façade are you going with? We've chosen the Avanti. Have you made many modifications to the design? We've added a shower to the Powder room (We lost 1/3 of the walk in pantry to do so) and we also closed of the lounge room to convert it into a guest room/fifth bedroom/ little theatre room/ karaoke room/ whatever you can think of room! Just finished electricals - cost us about $8500. Have you finished all selections? Re: Anyone Building at One Minto? 529Feb 21, 2015 10:16 pm I am going with savannah facade. I havent done any selection till date.i liked your idea to add the shower on power room. ii just pay 1k+3k for detailing . i havent sign final contract with wisdom and waiting for registration of land.My lot is in eagleview road ,i heared these lots are delayed due to road maintenance???do you have any idea regarding road maintenance? I haven't sign final contract with wisdom and waiting for registration of land.My lot is in eagle view road ,I heard these lots are delayed due to road maintenance???do you have any idea regarding road maintenance? Good on you. I reckon the Savannah Facade is a beautiful design. I don't quite get what you mean by "ii just pay 1k+3k for detailing". Do you mean you are going to upgrade the powder room? The road works are are a bummer for those affected, but it appears that the builder is using it as an excuse to slow down all files in stage 13 - reports and site inspections. Road works on Eagle view road should not imapct on a builder's ability to administrate other blocks unaffected by road works. I enquired about road works last week, but they said it is a matter for Landcom. If I were you I would call/email Landcom and ask them what the issue is and how long it will take to resolve. When does your tender expire? Re: Anyone Building at One Minto? 531Feb 22, 2015 1:27 pm HKADH I am going with savannah facade. ...... Just wanted to ask HKADH, did the builder give you a problem when selecting savannah facade, as this is not a standard 'smart home package' facade? Did you have to modify it much for the W29? The W29 is a narrowish double storey, so the savannah would have to be modified. For example, goign off pics that feature this facade the columns are thick, but they would need to be made thinner to suit the W29. is that correct? The avanti needed to be modifed for the narrower W29 home. They had to extend it across the left handside of the home (when looking directly at the home). If you have any pics or plans I would love to see how they added the savannah facade to your W29. Re: Anyone Building at One Minto? 532Feb 23, 2015 11:33 pm Sorry, I got little busy lately. Our land is in Pandegrast Avenue. Settlement date has been booked recently. Our house design is Da Vinci from Wisdom Homes. Electrical variation was around 5k, our is one story house, may be thats the reason we paid comparatively less. Re: Anyone Building at One Minto? 533Feb 24, 2015 4:30 pm imtellinya, i havent got any problem on selection of Savannah Facade. i did several upgrade such as,ground floor ceiling height, door height ,choose 2015 wise up grade, which includes 16 downlight ,free aircon. i havent got any appointment for electrical and color selection.I am going to do electrical upgrade(nearly 5k). My tender is valid till august 4. Re: Anyone Building at One Minto? 534Feb 24, 2015 6:47 pm .... choose 2015 wise up grade, which includes 16 downlight ,free aircon.... Yes its great value the new wise choice promo. They even throw in polyurethane cabinets for the kitchen and a couple of other things. Its a little more expensive than the old package but better value. Re: Anyone Building at One Minto? 535Feb 24, 2015 6:51 pm Just wanted to ask all you stage 13 people building with Wisdom homes - has anyone had any news about their salinity test, bore hole report or other site reports and documents? Re: Anyone Building at One Minto? 537Feb 24, 2015 8:17 pm We are still waiting for salinity result.. Apparently wisdoms said their engineers are busy coz they have so many to test. Re: Anyone Building at One Minto? 538Feb 24, 2015 8:26 pm mrdeepak111 We are still waiting for salinity result.. Apparently wisdoms said their engineers are busy coz they have so many to test. Thats something our builder Allworth homes have not asked or advised us. They make the house slab based on H class soil as standard. Re: Anyone Building at One Minto? 540Feb 24, 2015 8:30 pm I think it became mandatory from stage 13. Gag, if am aware, you are from earlier stage? I have a friend building near to the park from earlier stage and builder didn't ask for it either. That is a really good attitude Akin to you catch more flies with honey than vinegar.
