It will be housed under a gazebo which we have gained a building permit for. I understand for any fixed/inground spa/pool over 300mm requires a building permit. This is one of those units with the timber/plastic sides. Council is making a killing off us with permit fees ,only reason is we will need council approval for other things in our backyard, don't want to get sprung What was your experience? I work in the industry and you would be surprised how many people are dobbed in by family / friends / neighbours. If you are caught without a building permit the fine can be many tens of thousands of dollars not to mention the safety of children.
