Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes - No Red Bows! 656Nov 05, 2014 12:04 am Hahaha this made me chuckle. Last week when arranging my handover time, I mentioned to my CLO how excited I was to post my "red bow" photo on facebook. She then told me about management's decision to ditch the bows. I was going to post about it, but thought that no one would care. I thought that I was silly to care so much about a little bow and no one would feel the same way. I was clearly mistaken! I am very curious about what event transpired to warrant this action. If I were to hazard a guess, perhaps a bow was placed on a door which was still wet? When the owner removed the bow, they found marks. That is purely speculative, but I can imagine something like that causing management to pull the pin. My CLO said she would try find a spare ribbon lurking around the RI office to give to me so I can take my gratuitous photo. At least we still get the hamper! Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes - No Red Bows! 657Nov 05, 2014 12:43 am I was gutted when I was told The decision was made by management because they do not want to "advertise an empty house" maybe someone was broken into and sued Redink? I really do think an email to all clients would have been a more appropriate way of letting us know. :/ Another thing to add to my list of ongoing complaints for lack of communication Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes - No Red Bows! 658Nov 05, 2014 1:15 am I think I was the only one that didn't take a picture of my bows . I wonder if they will put a sticker on the loo vent still .I still have mine on there so the sand doesn't come in .hmm got me thinking. Are they going to give toilet roll holders and toilet brush . oh and the scented oil things. All those are nice touches that most builders don't give . on the other hand the toilet brush holder thingy leaks water on the bottom .he he Its funny coz Redink have apparently won some awards for customer service . lol Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes - No Red Bows! 659Nov 05, 2014 9:42 am Oh the Customer Service of the office staff and Sales Rep has mostly been fantastic. However the communication of my SS could Improve. There are quite a few times it has caused me added stress just due to lack of communication its probably a man thing though haha. Some people are just better at explaining things than others. I asked my SS to forward me an email yesteday after he was showing me on his ipad on info about the grout explaining the reason for tile discolouration from the supplier. I would have been a lot happier if I had read this at the beginning of last week. Im just the type that needs to know whats going on and I ask lots of questions I love to understand how things work. Im sure Redink will be as happy as I am for handover haha! Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes - No Red Bows! 660Nov 05, 2014 10:55 am All so true .in exactly like you .if I'm not happy with what they say I send my self crazy investigating on my own .so I become smarter than them . I think they thought when I got keys they would of got rid of me .wrong . lol . but they always have a explanation for everything .half the time I don't think they know what they are talking about . I wonder what qualification you need to have to be a as.
