We have just settled on lot 405 styles street and wont start building for a couple more months (still going through admin with Rawson Homes) I drive out there each weekend and love to see what has happened in a week. Hey there, we are on Alchin street... Lot 569 aka dp 400. Looks like our lots back onto each other a tiny bit. We have been in touch with your neighbour too re fencing. Oh Hello Neighbour I saw there as some fencing up just over thee weekend. Was that yours or the lot next to you (401) Yes we to have been briefly in contact with (lot 406) they mention something about fencing and haven't heard anymore. Do you know what's happening with it? Who and what are you building/with? We are building the Fernside 42 with Rawson Homes. When do you think yours will start? Yes, we have temp fencing but our neighbours do too. Lot 406 have asked to have colorbond fencing... Is that what you want? We're building with McDonald jones, a veuve elite. We should be at council this week and hopefully building next month some time. Re: Anybody building at Googong ? 1477Jun 03, 2014 8:22 am Yes, we have temp fencing but our neighbours do too. We would really like a lighter colour fence like dune. We have a lot of blue/grey tones in our build. Re: Anybody building at Googong ? 1478Jun 03, 2014 12:25 pm enkc - read page 23 of the guide lines, don't think you have a choice of colours. "Side and rear boundary (inter-allotment) fencing • Side and rear inter-allotment fencing to a maximum height of 1.8m. • Timber palings, Colorbond® Fences or similar can be used, but are limited in colour to ‘Grey Ridge’." - pagdia Re: Anybody building at Googong ? 1479Jun 03, 2014 1:06 pm pagdia enkc - read page 23 of the guide lines, don't think you have a choice of colours. I know some sydney developments say you must have colorbond and it must be this colour. I know some sydney developments say you must have colorbond and it must be this colour. This is the problem we have, the spec homes next to us already put up palings (no consultation with us) so of course we want palings on the other side but we have already had one neighbour who wants colourbond which is fine as they are at the front and there fence finishes at our garage but we will refuse the others if they ask as it will look really silly in our backyard if we have part palings, part colourbond. I also think we will need our neighbours to build their retaining walls before we can put in fence posts as their site cuts are right to the boundary. We need our fences up when we move in as we have a dog and children. Hey guys building a new place through a volume builder and just wondering if i should complain to the site supervisor as we just had plasterboard installed. Looks like… 0 11986 Elvis has left the building... The site supervisor quit after 2 month on the project. I guess he was just instructed to bark at people, but didn't like when he was… 26 21976 |
