What a progress! What's the reason that sways you towards Timber Frame instead of steel? I know that Metricon says that they uses those "blue-ish" water-proof treated timber.....I am guessing Plantation doesn't by the look of the frame. Is it a option to upgrade to would you know? To be honest we didn't even ask about using anything other than timber frames. Probably something we should have asked about I guess Re: Redesigned Retreat Q2 Home - Frames are up! 66Nov 17, 2013 3:10 pm How are you going Tans?? I heard there was golf ball sized hail up the sunny coast yesterday. And you don't have your roof on yet do you?? I hope you escaped any damage! Hey there - thanks for asking. Luckily the hail didn't reach Peregian Springs so everything is fine. The roof is meant to be going on this week - so I hope the weather settles! Thought you might consider retractable or pleated screens to help with screening. They are pretty neat and are designed not to take from the doors or your view. Hi Marissa I would be interested in getting a quote for these. I will send you a PM to arrange the best way of doing this. This will be the last time I see the house before going overseas and it actually felt quite sad leaving! Will have to rely on hubby to keep the photos coming .... although I imagine there won't be a huge amount more happening this side of Christmas.
