I knew that standard timber frames aren't designed to handle the size/weight of double glazing...but I just assumed that the 'window people' would tell us what was needed in that regard! Thanks for the link WindowExpert...i don't suppose you know if they supply much to Canberra of there is a local supplier that uses the same 'hardware'?
