Re: Has anyone built in Yanchep recently? 5Jul 19, 2013 11:56 am Wow our estimate for siteworks was 14K , hope we see some of that back !! Which builder did you end up choosing ? Re: Has anyone built in Yanchep recently? 6Jul 19, 2013 8:27 pm went with homegroup wa, the salesman was great, no pressure at all just useful advice Re: Has anyone built in Yanchep recently? 7Jul 22, 2013 12:50 pm KiwiGalAbroad I have a lot in Yanchep but no titles till Nov so still a fair way off before building will start. I am using Commodore Homes and so far seems good value for money. We will be near the new, not yet built, Marmion Road so we have to have 6mm Laminate windows for noise control, a cost we were not expecting. ouch! thats a pain!! and to think I used to live in a ground floor unit in como, right next to the freeway and there was no way the windows had anything but standard glass...... gimpsurfer84 went with homegroup wa, the salesman was great, no pressure at all just useful advice i built with HGWA. Very please with our build and would sign up with them again in a heartbeat! Jen Building with HomeGroupWA (started as Scott Park Homes ) - Grand Wisteria Check out my Build Thread!! Time line on P1. Re: Has anyone built in Yanchep recently? 8Aug 08, 2013 3:50 pm We are also building in Jindowie Our titles are due to be released in early October, so we are playing the waiting game too. Our siteworks have been estimated at $14,000, which is massive considering our block is only 210m2. Building our first home in Jindowie Estate, Yanchep, WA with Buzz 1st Homes Re: Has anyone built in Yanchep recently? 9Mar 11, 2014 3:45 pm In the end the site works came in around $15000, the survey drill sample came back with traces of limestone rubble so they had to account for hard digging. Hopefully wel see some of it back, didn't think traces of limestone rubble was that hard to remove but who knows whats under the top soil.
We were lucky pre start was cheaper than we expected, we did pretty well for our budget and got more than we wanted as the standard inclusions were pretty tasteful and not cheap looking. Re: Has anyone built in Yanchep recently? 10Mar 11, 2014 3:51 pm wow, i hope our 14k is enough then! Which estate are you building in? Have you got your slab? Re: Has anyone built in Yanchep recently? 11Mar 11, 2014 4:32 pm not sure if it is in an estate, but we are on the coastal side of marmion ave opposite jindowie. its mostly established, we bought the land from a private seller. Our slab went down a couple weeks back, seems to be happening pretty quick now quite happy so far how smooth everything has gone. Re: Has anyone built in Yanchep recently? 12Mar 11, 2014 8:40 pm Hmm yes, I don't think it has an "estate " name, I think it's what's referred to as "old Yanchep" ? Would love to see your plans or pics Re: Has anyone built in Yanchep recently? 13Mar 11, 2014 10:44 pm Yeah i think it pretty much called old yanchep.will post some pics of pad and plans in couple of weeks when i get home from work. bricks got delivered today may have some walls up by the time i get back.
