We had our PCI yesterday & we will be getting our keys next Thursday I can't imagine everything will be done but I told my SS I don't mind moving in and he is confident it will be finished. Our driveway is in & it looks great! Re: Our Benham 33 journey 3053May 10, 2013 5:56 am Belle n Dave have you spoken to your SS about when to expect your frames? Our SS said that we won't get our frames delivered until the 27th May as there is a delay at the place that produces them. It's a shame as everything was going full steam ahead. I guess at least it will give our slab plenty of time to cure? How long after slabs being poured did everyone else have their frames go up? Re: Our Benham 33 journey 3054May 10, 2013 6:49 am B&k we had our frames start 4 days after the slab was poured. Should have been 2days but the termite guard didn't go down. Our major delay was frames finished 12th December, brickies didn't start until 22nd jan Modified Fernside 38 Rawson Homes Blog: http://www.thehousethatmatandjenbuilt.blogspot.com Build Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=60501 Re: Our Benham 33 journey 3055May 10, 2013 7:00 am B&k just looked at your colour selections on your blog - same colours as my house for the kitchen and bathrooms for the cupboards and benches Modified Fernside 38 Rawson Homes Blog: http://www.thehousethatmatandjenbuilt.blogspot.com Build Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=60501 Re: Our Benham 33 journey 3057May 10, 2013 2:28 pm Thanks MelC, BnD and BS36. I can't believe frames started so quickly after the slab went down. Seriously wish our frames were going up in that timeframe (pls forgive the pun). 17 days is going to feel like a long time........ Re: Our Benham 33 journey 3058May 10, 2013 5:00 pm Jen- we both must have great taste. Can't wait for your kitchen to go in so I can see photos Re: Our Benham 33 journey 3059May 10, 2013 7:46 pm B and K our frames were delayed by 3 weeks as well and everyone said it was good to let the slab cure but I just wanted it to go up so we could see it! We also have a lot of the same colours and finishes as you. We have the same floor tiles as you and I absolutely love them! They cleaned them last week and they looked beautiful, they are dirty again but will be cleaned again before we move next week. Koroboo I will put some photos on tomorrow as I need to take some updated ones with the driveway Re: Our Benham 33 journey 3060May 11, 2013 8:20 am MelC I would love to see some pictures of your beautiful tiles. Did you get gloss or honed tiles? Does anyone know what the cupboard colour in the Chifley at Glenswood is. I know it is from Polytec and is a timber print colour. We have emailed the colour consultant but she hasn't got back to us yet. We are hoping it is the same colour that we chose (Truffle Lini) as we really like it.
