I have contacted the council and it is possible to build to the boundary which is one option , the other is to sacrifice some of the WIR and reposition the vanity. If I were to extend it would mean a small roof would need to be installed as there is no eve on that side of the house and Im not sure how it would be tied in to the existing roof/ gutter.
