I'll be there when they put them on so will be sure to make sure they've coded them in. You'd think they would have. Tested them. No power hey.....? I'm saving it for when DH comes back from work. He wants to carry me over the threshold. We only got married 4 years ago (together for 7) and this is the first house we own properly together (I had bought our other place a couple of years before we met). So he's super excited to get home now. I'm so jealous of you now. I'm painting the whole place. I've got all the paint and sealer and bits and pieces and will start on Thursday when DH is home. I've got to do the living/kitchen, dining, entry passage and WIL before the 27th as that's when the tiler is doing those areas. While he is tiling I will paint the rest before the carpet man comes. We've chosen half strength seed pearl. We had full seed pearl in the lat place but went with the half because of the trim colour and benches etc. Today I've unpacked a heap of stuff up there. It's like christmas has come early as I finally get to unpack all the bits and pieces I've been buying over the year. I'm really liking how it's coming together. I can't wait to show you. It looks like a building site till so not much different front he last set of pics. The next set will look pretty swish I'm sure. I will post a pic of the fire after it goes in next week though. Must go and sleep so I can get up early and pack the kitchen before the boys wake up. See ya Re: and so it begins... 228Dec 15, 2012 11:41 am Oh JuJuB i'm so excited for you I bet it will look very swish indeed & cant wait to se the pict's I'm really buggered, back n forth i go eachday making sure there are no probs for painters or someone coming in to do anything else. The Internet it not good here at all. I won't even mention mobile reception! Anywho, we've got a heap of the timber tiles layed and they look awesome. Have only been able to paint half the house due to not being able to walk on the tiles and stuff being stored in the rooms. DH is back tomorrow and filers should be done by end of the week so we'll get it done but the middle of next week when the carpet gets put down Anyway, here are some pics. Happy new years!
