How much will it cost to convert a room into a bathroom?
That is a "how long is a piece of string" question. Typically, a bathroom renovation will run from $5000 to $30000 depending of the quality of fixtures and finishes. Converting a room, however, will depend on how much of the existing infrastructure needs to be changes. If plumbing and electrical is already available and it has standard framed walls and a timer floor that is easily accessible from underneath, then the additional cost may be minimal. But if the plumbing and electrical is on the other side of the house and the floor is concrete and walls double brick or concrete panel, then you might be up for thousands.
The room is located next to a laundry room and electric is also available so would be an ease. However the floor is concrete and really am just looking for an average design and quality.
You'll need to get quotes from a couple of builders. The biggest issue will be running plumbing services through the concrete floor to the sewer.
