We have warm lights all through our house. Doesn't look that yellow in person, that pic up there isn't a fair comparison, cause it wasn't warm down lights. Though I actually wanted all cool white, but misses wanted warm. Happy wife, happy life.

Oh thanks for pointing out that it's not downlights. Does anyone have a pic of warm white downlights in the house? Particularly the ones Metricon use?

Any pics in my thread at night time. The entire house is warm down lights. Example below.

We’ve used warm lights as well but the pics show it as being so yellow
It will be interesting to see how the wall colours look under light. Our lights underneath the kitchen cabinetry are cool lights though.

We had a mix of cool and warm LEDs in our last house that we tested for one of my suppliers, and we found the warm to be a better everyday colour. Both of us find that our eyes became more strained from long periods under the cool white

That’s ok. I went for chrome. I still don’t know if I should have gone white or chrome though chrome look ok and we already have a lot of white in the house

I think it depends on the look of the house you are wanting to achieve. A modern house will look good in chrome. We are going for a more classic looks so we picked white.

Haha.
No, they haven’t had the chance to paint the ground floor due to the rainy weather.

Are you in Melb?

That’s not what they used here. They were using Beacon lighting a while back but have moved to Lumi lighting.

Clipsal was used for light switches and circuit and they have started to move to HPM branding.

Week 20 Update:

Not much external work was done this week except a few electrical points that was moved the to correct location.

They started on the pillar and not much has happened since.

Internally a lot of prepping has been done.
• Wet areas had their floors leveled in preparation for the tilings.
• Concrete slab leveling has started.
• Kitchen caesarstone benchtop have been installed.
• Kitchen cabinets with incorrect handle locations will be have the panels replaced with new panels.

Renman is holding us in suspense!
Has Renman gone on holidays? Seems so quiet on the forum these days

Haha. Not holding out, just not much happening. Over the last week all they did was leveled the slab, wet area and water proofing.

They put the textured coat on the ground floor.

Nothing exciting compared to yours.

Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them.
