Whats the hurry? I just had soil tests done, along with surveyor and I can't remember off the top of my head what else, it was done in no time. I think the whole lot was done in a couple of weeks. Seems like a bit of a red flag that they aren't proactive about this. No builder is not pushing , but ...

I would try the Queensland Electricity and Gas Ombudsman https://www.ewoq.com.au/ We had the same problem in Victoria and spoke to the Victorian Ombudsman and the supply was disconnected the next day. Thanks for your advice, I will reach out to ombudsman

Timber frame with brick veneer is what I would choose.. The one advantage hebel has is that its cheaper if you want rendered walls.
