Very nice. Those overhead cupboards look so tall. I would never get into the top shelf of them without a ladder. Thanks Kaytee - we upgraded and got the 9ft ceilings, love the feel of the bigger space it creates! I think I will be on tippy toes reching for things thats for sure! kexkez that chocolate pear colour is gorgeous. mmm eating chocolate pears n your choc pear kitchen. sounds good. I can't wait to make that recipe of chocolate pear to eat in my chocolate pear kitchen. I might have to make that a regular desert! TheSquid Yeah Tammy. I think the bricks are the same. I am off to find DH a birthday present Re: Our Preston @ the 'Coast' CABINETS ((kitchen pics)) 285Oct 29, 2010 8:28 am Have they done your eaves yet? Ours have been sitting out the front for the last week, but nothing has been done with them yet. We haven't caught up to you just yet, still waiting on cornices to be done. Fingers crossed they may have started them today??!! Re: Our Preston @ the 'Coast' CABINETS ((kitchen pics)) 287Oct 29, 2010 11:20 am That answers my question about the eaves. Hopefully they are out there doing them today. Has your SS or Hickies given you any idea what they are doing next, and when that's going to be? No eaves yet, still waiting. We haven't heard from Hickinbotham or SS and haven't asked as to what is next. I am thinking tiling the wet areas as all of our tiles are there. I went in today and had a look as I was told that they had left the garage door entry unlocked - ooops. I was tempted to lock it behind me but thought I would wait till Hubby got home from WA. Nothing has been done all week but not really fussed.. if they don't do anything next week I might be a little annoyed! Your kitchen colours look gorgeous! bobbaloochi Hey Tammy - went past your place last night and there is a big delivery of what I would assume to be the eaves out the front!! Fingers crossed they may have started them today??!! Hey Kell, well we have actually had the eaves delivery there for about 2 weeks now without them being touched. I was hoping that they'd do them soon as it has been rained on quite a few times now . Here's hoping they'll get to that soon! I seen your bricks today, they look great. The same brickie done the neighbours bricks.. He does take his time as it is just him but I have seen he does a good job. With a *** constantly sitting inbetween his lips! Re: Our Preston @ the 'Coast' CABINETS ((kitchen pics)) 289Oct 29, 2010 11:52 am That's good that your tiles are there. How exciting. Hopefully it won't be too long before they lay them. Lucky you that they left the door unlocked. I have tried every door and window and just can't get in. Bugga, maybe next time. Our eaves have been sitting there for about a week. I keep expecting them to do something with them, but nothing yet. I saw a tradie doing the eaves of another house last night, and nicely asked him if he was doing ours next. Unfortunately our house has been allocated to someone else, so no idea when it will be done. Thanks for the comments about the kitchen. We're pretty happy with it. contract signed: Nov 09 Released to Construction: 23 Jul 10 Slab poured: 9 Aug 10 Frame completed: 30 Aug 10 Windows & Gutters: 7 Sep 10 Bricks: 15 - 23 Sep 10 Roof: 24 Sep 10 Gyprock: 20 Oct 10 Lockup: 25 Oct 10 Kitchen: 27 Oct 10 Tiling: 6 - 9 Nov 10 Painting: 17 Nov 10 Carpet: 30 Nov 10 PCI: 15 Dec 10 Handover: 17 Dec 10 https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=35943 Re: Our Preston @ the 'Coast' CABINETS ((kitchen pics)) 290Oct 29, 2010 12:25 pm I'm going to have a rant...just to make me feel better by venting! I'm not having a great day.. It started off with bad hay fever which has turned into swollen itchy eyes.. Then after getting to the shopping centre and getting Keira out of the car to put her in the pram the lady who parked next to me flung her door open wide and hit my car. I had no idea what to do without strangling her so I continued getting Keira out waiting for her to come around myside and apologize. NOTHING.. she rubbed my car door and said "bugger" when walking off. She seen me standing right there but didn't say ANYTHING to me.. Annoyed I wrote her a note saying that it would have been nice next time for her to apologise to someone in the same situation if they are STANDING RIGHT THERE, IDIOT! Re: Our Preston @ the 'Coast' CABINETS ((kitchen pics)) 291Oct 29, 2010 12:30 pm What a cow. The least she could do was apologise. I had that at the shop once. I was sitting in my car and some old bat smashed her door into mine. She didn't say a word, just hopped in her car and drove off. I really wanted to get out and abuse her but didn't think it was a good idea. contract signed: Nov 09 Released to Construction: 23 Jul 10 Slab poured: 9 Aug 10 Frame completed: 30 Aug 10 Windows & Gutters: 7 Sep 10 Bricks: 15 - 23 Sep 10 Roof: 24 Sep 10 Gyprock: 20 Oct 10 Lockup: 25 Oct 10 Kitchen: 27 Oct 10 Tiling: 6 - 9 Nov 10 Painting: 17 Nov 10 Carpet: 30 Nov 10 PCI: 15 Dec 10 Handover: 17 Dec 10 https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=35943 Re: Our Preston @ the 'Coast' CABINETS ((kitchen pics)) 292Oct 29, 2010 2:08 pm Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ do you feel better now? Bahaha.. I'll remember that for next time!! About a year ago my brother, for some weird reason, put out his smoke in the back of hubby's work ute and left a few of his cigarette butt's in there I found this to be disgusting and rude ( I am an ex smoker but in my time of smoking I would never have done such a thing ) sooooo I put 2 of my son's poopy nappies in the back of his ute as pay back! I got a not so impressed call from him - I just laughed!
