We were hoping it would sell quickly so we could organize fences, retaining walls and they would have the trees chopped down before we moved in but it doesn't seem likey. We were really lucky, we had no trees on our block! Do u think u would be interested in the block without the trees, apparently the owner is applying to council to have them removed! It's such a nice area,my parter is from happy valley and I'm originally from blackwood so we know the area pretty well. Which school does your eldest go to? I would love to hear a bit more about the local school in our area. In regards to the splashback,we are having grey floor tiles, 600x600mm rectified polished porcelain. I will post a pic in a sec. Ragnarswife,I love the pic u posted with the two different colour splashbacks, I have been looking for an inspiration pic like that but hadn't found much. I have a couple of splashback pics that I will post as well-would love opinions Thanks again for all of your awesome feedback!! Re: Building the Monaco by Dechellis 139Feb 10, 2013 6:44 pm We might consider it if the trees are removed there are just so many! Also also be good to know which ones can be. I've pm'ed you the school details. We agree its a great area. With the splashback maybe a light silvery grey? But then again I am a bit boring lol. Re: Building the Monaco by Dechellis 140Feb 10, 2013 8:47 pm We have a medium grey floor tile, white(ish) walls, black bench tops and white laminex gloss cabinets. We were going to have a silver splashback to 'match' but decided on the blue/green colour like in your picture just to brighten things up a bit Feel free to follow our build! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=59958 Hey guys building a new place through a volume builder and just wondering if i should complain to the site supervisor as we just had plasterboard installed.
