But when I clicked on it, it didn’t have a link or name to it.
I will try again tomorrow. See whose website I can raid!! I’m just about to go home….no computer still. EVERYONE LESSON……BACKUP!!!! OFTEN ON YOUR COMPUTER!!! Not that I have anything to worry about here, but it could have been disastrous! We have had some VERY upset clients from loosing ALL their data…and guess what….they didn’t do backups. Ohhhhh I always do a runner when one comes in, I can’t bare to see their face when they get told all their stuff is lost….for good!!! See you tomorrow, with some stolen ….borrowed photos!!!! I gave you a bum steer. I didn't notice that you were referencing a web site rather than a picture. You know that you are referencing a picture when it ends in .jpg (or jpeg, tif, gif and several other extensions). For instance, I've stolen (or borrowed) from your website the following internet address (formally known as a URL) to a picture on your website: http://www.denovoconcepts.com/images/la ... rewall.jpg Now if enclose the internet address with the magical I get the picture: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ You’re basically telling the forum software, with the , that the information between the “tags” is an address to a picture on the web and rather than print out the internet address, please display it. To get the internet address of the picture, right click it and select Properties (for Windows) or hold down the control key while clicking and select Copy Image Address (for Macintosh). It's important to note that you are not "stealing" the picture. Instead you are providing a link to the original which resides on the source website. If someone moves the original picture or deletes it then it will also disappear from your post. Hope this helps. Cheers, Casa Re: How to post a photo from an existing website. 11Apr 23, 2008 11:20 am Ok I need to learn this!!
