Found out we had undermount sink already in our contract so that was pretty cool. Then went in and did 3.5 hours with CLO and went through room by room. Had some sandwiches and a few coffees and now just waiting for costings which she said she'd have back by close of business today The extra GPO's, TV points and conduits only came to $1700. Hubby is sparky so will do extra's after handover. Will update when I get price list. Re: WA - Baldivis / Ventura - Prestart done 191Dec 14, 2012 6:56 pm Yay!! Sounds good, always good to have someone agree your choices work! Do you know the brand of sink included? I'd never heard of the one they quoted us so have asked about the cost of the Clark sink. Why the change from polar white to white? We originally had new crystal salt and changed to crystal chalk, though still can't see the difference between them! Re: WA - Baldivis / Ventura - Prestart done 192Dec 14, 2012 7:15 pm White is warmer - the polar is a bluish white - we are having cream floors. It's the same colour as all the Ventura Display home's and they look pretty white! It is a Clark Monaco double undermount I think Re: WA - Baldivis / Ventura - Prestart done 193Dec 14, 2012 7:34 pm Yeah it is a warmer colour! With your other choices a good idea, we're going with greys so hopefully the polar white won't be too stark! I'm very excited for you, at this rate we might be building about the same time Re: WA - Baldivis / Ventura - Prestart done 194Dec 15, 2012 11:48 am Gee i'm glad the sink was included for you, ours was so i was gonna tell you that but its all worked out Good luck for you both for a great house build, fab prezzy for the new year Block bought 1st RBC X! 2nd Ventrua,Keeper! Thats a shame... ours took a couple of days... we had over 85 items we wanted priced on and several had multiple options... The kitchen splashback i made them price 6 options... bet they loved me! Plain White but oversize tile Plain White but oversize tile - including behind rangehood Fancy mosaic tile Fancy mosaic tile - including behind rangehood Standard colour glass splashback Clarity glass splashback And for some reason i forgot to include behind the rangehood on the splashback so now we are adding after handover! Re: WA - Baldivis / Ventura - Prestart done 199Dec 15, 2012 10:47 pm Plus they'd still be doing other last minute pre-starts too. Pre-christmas is such a full on time but more especially now things are really picking up again for the building industry. Fingers crossed for Monday for you. I am not getting the laminate waterfall ends $1094 - so no Not getting my Toilet in the ensuite with the integrated basin - $1000 to upgrade. Will go buy Cistern later for $500 and swap it over. Otherwise a bottle of dettol sanitiser in there I have changed to a sliding door so I can fit a small Ikea cabinet in for storage. Upgrading all cabinetry to Silk Finish throughout was under $500 Some things seemed surprisingly cheap, extending the overheads cupboards in the kitchen was under $500. Door upgrades throughout were $49 each Land settle's tomorrow. Merry Xmas to us! A question. Im in Queensland and building a new home.
