Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Jul 31, 2012 12:15 am Hi we're building a 2 storey with rear garage - has half flat roof on LHS and half skillion on RHS and its surfmist. Gutters and facia surfmist too. Its fully rendered house. On the LHS theres a chimney like shape that we were cladding with knapped face marble and have gone off that as looks too traditional and likely to be out of vogue before house even finished looking for a bit of a modern wow to complement house shape but not too in your face. We need a paint colour to replace the marble and thinking of colourbond loft and also for the front door and garage at rear. We also need a main render colour for the front and all of the sides and back of house (incl garage of which one wall forms our alfresco). Would prefer colourbond colour (to match downpipes) and not too light or too dark... we liked chino but no matching colourbond gutters so we're thinking evening haze. Also at the front is a balcony with render feature in shape of a square C (that cuts into the chimney shape about 3/4 high so would like a nice contrast)...we were looking at painting this dry parkland (british paints colour) very pale/dirty lime green colour...we have silver windows.. loft will work with the interior colours really well. We arent too keen on really clean colours... Ummm and we need to make a decision by tomorrow as this is a variation Helppppppppppppp please Re: Urgent External Colour scheme help for modern new build 2Aug 25, 2012 12:25 pm Guess we missed this one......
