The planters are Besser block and the screen blueboard. We've also used it on our bar. Can't tell you what it cost, but it still looks great. Re: Dulux Acratex render 14Apr 05, 2012 9:41 pm thanks kek- been admiring your back yard for a long time hopefully ours will turn as nice your plants must be well established now Preliminary agreement 23/11 Contract 22/03 Prestart 06/04 - finalised on 30/04 Unconditional approval 10/05 Demolition 05/07 Slab 26/08 Brickwork 13/09-06/10 Roof frame started 07/10 viewtopic.php?f=31&t=32292 Re: Dulux Acratex render 15Apr 06, 2012 4:27 pm Bagheera thanks kek- been admiring your back yard for a long time hopefully ours will turn as nice your plants must be well established now They're a bit feral... I just cut down the cannas so we could re-seal our merbau screens. Everything is growing like the clappers. I keep meaning to post some updated photos...need to find time to weed and tidy up first. Re: Dulux Acratex render 16Apr 08, 2012 9:44 pm professional renders usually like to use unitex. I dont you well get away with sand a cement of blue board. It need to be flexible, and water proof. The acrylic render is better for those two reasons. Re: Dulux Acratex render 17Apr 17, 2012 3:08 pm ok, it seems that there are not many renderers in Perth doing/knowing about the Acrylic Cement Render or the ones doing it are charging quite a lot. I've been quoted for a full Acratex sealant/render/Coventry Coarse 951/Acrashied system over $3K??? Can anybody recommend a renderer in Perth who is decently priced? Footing is cement with aggregate (didn't use rheo).
