For a laugh, I've decided to start a blog on our home renovation; to give you a sense of where we are at, just had DA approved and about to start construction once BA is certified (next 6 weeks, we assume). The blog is at naiverenovator.blogspot.com. Renovating in Sydney, Australia. Blog: naiverenovator.blogspot.com.au Re: Home Renovation Blogs 9Feb 19, 2012 7:02 pm Great blog, very interesting reading as we are currently searching for a house atm and are leaning towards terrace houses in inner Melbourne. It will be interesting to see what's involved, as we may end up buying one that needs a little work (fully reno'd ones are way too expensive!). Wondering if this is your first reno or have you done it before? Re: Home Renovation Blogs 10Apr 08, 2012 11:52 am Great blog! I have been trying to find the time to get going on ours. Should get stuck into it and share soon before I'd need to spend weeks getting up to date Sam. I'm not up on blogging yet but I did do a video of my last reno if anyone is interested. Go to youtube and type in LovetoReno There are 2 before and one after video. With a reno costing $25K and taking 5 weeks (we do a lot of the work ourselves) we increased the equity on this house by $85K and it's cash flow positive. LOVE IT!!!. Re: Home Renovation Blogs 12Jul 18, 2012 1:54 pm Hi, New to this forum but have been lurching around a while. My hubby and I are renovating our single storey victorian detached house in Leichhardt and I have created a blog (1st time blogger). As we both work full time we have engaged the services of an architect (Trevor Hall) to run the project from start to finish - I thought I would share my experience as we don't know anyone who has done something similiar (and are not millionaires). http://renojewel.blogspot.com.au/ Re: Home Renovation Blogs 13Oct 16, 2012 4:03 pm Hi Everyone, I'm inspired! Just started my first Blog. I had to go back to April 16th and try and remember. Photos to come. http://fairfieldmansionstumpville.blogspot.com.au/ Re: Home Renovation Blogs 14Nov 13, 2012 10:00 am Hi Everyone! New member to this forum, but have been reading it for ages for our renovation project. My partner and I are renovating a single storey 1980s house in Sydney. We both work full time and are on a tight budget, so we're trying to do most things ourselves - planning, design and pitch in with the building project (building a skylight for example) wherever we can. Here is our blog - starting from property purchase. It is currently updated to where we were at 2 months ago, but more to come! http://www.sydneyreno.blogspot.com.au/ Re: Home Renovation Blogs 15Feb 25, 2013 11:13 am I haven't been on this forum for years, but we are just about to embark on the fun task of extending our little house. I am getting into the spirit and have started a blog to record all our adventures (and with 3 little kids underfoot it really will be an adventure). http://landhousereno.blogspot.com.au/20 ... -last.html My renovation blog: http://landhousereno.blogspot.com.au/ Or like me on facebook: The little yellow house About to extend our Edwardian House in West Footscray, Melbourne D & N and 3 kids. Re: Home Renovation Blogs 16Feb 25, 2013 1:06 pm Hi guys I have got my blog up to date and thought I'd share! Our build is coming along at a great rate of knots now after taking almost a year to get through the red tape and then wait for our trades to be available. I'd love some followers and feel free to leave comments and ask questions http://notmynightmare.blogspot.com.au/ I called it Not My Nightmare because of the number of people who actually said that what we were going to do sounded like a nightmare! I will get around to reading and following everyone elses blogs too. I've very recently started a blog to document my fiance and I renovating our home in the Blue Mountains. We have no reno experience and we won't be getting anyone in to help us so it's sure to be a fun ride!
