Re: Mattwalker's renovation project - The new house 48Apr 26, 2011 9:01 pm Wow, Matt, it all looks fantastic. Wish my hubby was good at DIY! Re: Mattwalker's renovation project - The new house 49Apr 26, 2011 9:32 pm Hi, I like the tile you have used in your laundry. Is the one in the bathroom the same or different? Can I ask how much a square mtr they were approx? I'm also loving your spout. Great job again Re: Mattwalker's renovation project - The new house 50Apr 26, 2011 9:56 pm leo - I cant claim most of this - I paid qualified tradesmen for the work they did (ie tilers, electricians, plumbers etc) chook - these tiles were sourced by my tiler and they are the same right through the house now. They were around $34 sqm I think (have to check with the boss!) Did I mention the love I have for the spout?? Re: Mattwalker's renovation project - The new house 51Apr 27, 2011 9:03 am Well done Matt you've done it again. Nice job!! Did you source your tradesmen individually (if so, where did you find them?) or was it done by a bathroom renovation company? I'm still positive it's a 90s Jennings home, but you're doing a great job in bringing it up to date Re: Mattwalker's renovation project - The new house 54Apr 27, 2011 10:09 pm @eimaj - You are spot on - I thought I had answered that earlier! - It is a 90's AVJ home. We looked originally at a bathroom renovation company but it was nearly 3 times as expensive as doing it ourselves. We got a contractor for the building and tiling etc and seperates for the electrical and plumbing - It worked out a lot cheaper this way. Re: Mattwalker's renovation project - The new house 55May 07, 2011 3:21 pm It all looks awesome. We will be undertaking all these renos soon on a house we just bought. We have done a bathroom reno on our current house. It's amazing how it comes up huh. And yes love your spout!!! Very cool. Renovating our 1970s home Re: Mattwalker's renovation project - The new house 56May 07, 2011 3:39 pm Amazing what a difference a bathroom transformation can make to a home. Looks great. Looks like really bright, airy and spacious living areas from the pics. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself.
