I'll scan them up soon... Today, by a pure chance encounter, whilst having a pie at a local bakery for lunch, I notice a guy pull up in a MH ute. As I had just been around to check our site and noticed the adjacent builder had dumped rubbish and building materials on my site, thanks for that! I wanted to know what my obligation was to get this removed prior to commencement of construction. To my surprise the guy knew about the situation, proceeded to introduce himself as my site manager and said he will contact the site manager of the builder adjacent our property and arrange for the site to be clean for a commencement in the immediate future. Apparently there are 3 other local MH projects awaiting a slab pour, before ours. With this weather I think we will need the next 3 weeks to be fine to get the others and ours poured in the next month. So, chance of rain = high, chance of slab in next month = low. Around these change of seasons the South Coast is very volatile when it comes to weather predictability and stability; Rain-sunny-gale-sunny-rain-gale-sunny-hail-rain-sunny-hail and so on... You want climate change? Just be here around Spring and Autumn each year. So, please god, do allow a little stability in this otherwise unpredictable season, so that our builder may be able to create the foundations of our family home.... Just give him 7 days, it's all I ask. Not like I am asking for the world, just a slab... A lighter brick overall. Was disappointed that MH wouldn't allow us to alter our other colours to better match the brick without charging us $1000 for alterations! As we were only going to swap out one colour it will be cheaper for us to repaint it later, rather than incur this 'administrative' cost. Re: Building Villina 41 @ Bayswood Estate 19Jul 01, 2011 7:45 pm AudzF I wish I could see what Urban Mist looks like. They have just told me today that Chiara has been discontinued and I need the bricks by Wednesday! It is astonishing how unprofessional these big companied can be. (And I won't mention how sexist when I went to chose the bricks in the first place!) Unfortunately there is nowhere I know where Urban Mist is displayed as a 'wall'. Urban Mist is, no doubt, a different colour to Chiara. Thou it is similar. Urban Mist is much lighter than Chiara, the colour is a cooler tone than Chiara. Urban Mist is more light grey, without the tones of green and pink hues that can sometimes be seen in the Chiara. We only have 3 rows around the base of the house thus far so cannot even give you a good photo of a wall. The off white morter seems to blend in nicely with the Urban Mist brick and the brick appears to me to look like a smokey grey when in shadow. I'll see if they have done anymore brick work on the weekend and try and get a shot for you.
