I have not moved in yet, but I have heard from current residents that there has been a problem of mice. The easiest way I can think of currently is a mice trap. Re: LYNDARUM / AURORA ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 1416Mar 16, 2011 10:37 pm fladdle About the corner-block-fencing query, it used to be that certain restraints VicUrban put on buyers and builders only held for the first 12 months. That is, they could prevent you from painting your house an unusual colour or they could require back sheds to be only a certain height but all of these restrictions only applied for a year after you moved in. So it's possible that after that time you would only need to follow Council guidelines if you wanted to build a fence on a corner block. It might be worth checking. I would try and speak to someone in VU and get a detailed information. I would share with you all as soon as I hear something from them. Re: LYNDARUM / AURORA ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 1418Mar 17, 2011 9:46 am Regards to fencing, i recently got a copy of the Aurora fencing guidelines from the display village ladies as i was wondering if i am allowed to paint them, and what colour is allowed. Grab yourselves a copy, i am pretty sure there is a mention about corner block fencing, and anyone that wants a steel or concrete type fencing needs to be facing a main road or something along those lines. Its all in the guidelines, if i find it in my pile of rubbish i will look it up and post it here.
