I have got the delivery of My roof tiles and Bricks too. I am going to upload pics on my thread soon Re: LYNDARUM / AURORA ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 1027Dec 24, 2010 8:33 am Hi there, could someone tell me who your electricity&gas supplier is in Aurora? I notice that Burbank uses TruEnergy in the contract. Could you change the supplier in the contract or you have to do it after build? Also, do you have smart meter installed or the normal peak/off-peak meter? Thanks & Merry Christmas. After the first 30 days of occupancy you can change to whoever you like. Im not sure what meter it is so can't help with that one! Thanks julzg, the smart metre is the new electricity metre that hooks up into network and sends the data to the suppliers and there won't be someone checking out your metre every 3 months anymore. It also automatically calculates peak and off-peak usage. It's currently rolling out across victoria. Since I am building a new house, I wonder they should put the new smart metre in straight away, saving the trouble to replace it later. But I am not sure. Here is a link if you are interested in finding out. If you haven't got one, eventually you will. http://new.dpi.vic.gov.au/smart-meters Re: LYNDARUM / AURORA ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 1030Dec 24, 2010 5:35 pm aurorafrog julzg We built with Burbank and Tru energy is their supplier. Even I am building with Burbank and I am going ahead with TruEnergy as I have the same currently. I am not planning to change it for a while. Julzg are you currently building at aurora? What stage are you at? Re: LYNDARUM / AURORA ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 1033Dec 24, 2010 8:29 pm oztish I live in Aurora. We're with Origin Energy and we have a smart meter. Re: LYNDARUM / AURORA ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 1034Dec 24, 2010 8:44 pm OH you just beat me to it. I was just logging back in to wish all of us Epping Northeners a very Merry Christmas!!!! Take care everyone - have a great day tomorrow and drive safely if you're driving anywhere Now if only whoever in my street (or nearby) is running a compressor, or their car engine or whatever has been making that annoying noise all night long would turn it off, I might be able to get my kids to sleep! Umm Oops Sorry Tish... Been cleaning up the street after all that mess I made last week! Lost track of time... Its amazing how much mess you can make in such a short time! We are with Origen to, but don't have a smart meter at this time. We have 3 phase power to our home and as far as I am aware, SP Ausnet (The local Network provider) Don't have suitable smart meters for 3 phase customers yet.... Anyways... Merry Christmas to everyone... Hope you all have a great day... Re: LYNDARUM / AURORA ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 1036Dec 25, 2010 6:03 pm ha ha ha Sorry Damou - didn't realise it was you!!!!! I thought someone had their car idling or something....that's ok - well done to you for creating a nicer outlook for us all to enjoy. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. My son woke up at 3.30am!!! So I'm hoping for an early night tonight. Best wishes to all for a fantastic year in 2011, especially to those who will be moving into their new homes this coming year. Re: LYNDARUM / AURORA ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 1039Dec 26, 2010 4:13 pm Same here. It seems all is fine for those who have Foxtel, but no free to air channels if you haven't. And, of course, neither VicUrban nor Arise are available on the phone until the holidays are over... Who else could we contact? Re: LYNDARUM / AURORA ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 1040Dec 26, 2010 7:40 pm DamoAu Is anyone else in Aurora having problems with TV Reception today? Since the power outage yesterday our TV Services have not worked? Has this been a frequently occurring problem in Aurora? How is the reception normally for all the free to air channels? Are the free to air channels received through FTTH too? Or we have to get a disc antenna fixed? The setback from the kerb is 4m.
