There is a lifestyle house that has just been built around the corner from us & it looks great! Colours = neutral neutral neutral!!! i don't think you can go to wrong with that & then can bring out colours in furniture & accessories! i know that sounds a bit boring but im going to go safe with my colours, that way in 10 years i wont be like "what was i thinking" haha! Im loving wooden floors but i just realised how expensive they are does anyone know if bamboo floors are cheaper & just an nice or if there is another alternative? Building 'The Haven' with Celebration Homes in Perth's northen suburbs Building contract signed: September 10 Land Settlement: September 10 Re: Building our first home 20Sep 29, 2010 10:22 am emjade- We were going to have timber floors but found it was too expensive (where we live anyway) Instead we have decided on Karndean Vinyl Planks. Not quite the same but the best option for us with 4 young kids amd also to fit in with our budget. The appealing for us is that we don't need to worry about water getting on them and damaging them like some of the other wooden types of flooring- they are durable and warm under the foot. I'm not sure whether something like this might appeal to you Cheers! Cant give recommendations in general with that builder, but during the colour selection, this is honestly personal preference. Depends on the style you want. Do you want… 1 679 Soak wells and electrical run in happening this week! Summit has told me they will relocate the laundry plumbing after the walls are completed.
